Today I saw a quote ad from http://thriftydecorchick.blogspot.com and I believe it is one that I should say everyday.

God might not lighten my load, but he will strengthen my back.


I love, love, love this so much.  So, many times I know that I couldn't have made it without his strength.  Without his constant helping, carrying, guiding me through the tough times I've had in my life.

Meal Planning for December Made Easy

Meal Planning for your Hungry Household.

I've been working hard on preparing and planning for the Holidays.  I know that with everyone being so busy anything that we can do to make our lives easier and feed our hungry family will be wonderful.   So, with that I'm enclosing my easy Meal Planning for all of you for December.  Happy Holidays and may the hungry in your household be ever in your debt.

Breakfast Appetizers

I don't know about you, but I'm always trying to come up with something new or something different for my kids to have for breakfast.  I have one in particular, who isn't a picky eater, but just doesn't like to eat breakfast.  So, me being the good mom that I am, I have tried all sorts of different breakfast ideas.  This onehe loves and is absolutely a keeper.  

Recipe:

Bananas

Peanut Butter

Rice Crispies

Slice the banana into pieces.  Insert the toothpick into the banana and then coat with Peanut Butter.  Then roll in Rice Crispies.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU!!

As we sat down to eat our dinner that my wonderful husband got up to help me prepare at 5:30 this morning.  He shared with us what he was happy and thankful for and then he asked all of us to share at our table.    As it came around to my turn I really had to think and maybe your thinking, well, really can't she think of things, because don't you know we live in a "perfect world".  A perfect world with first world problems, right?  I'm digressing, anyway I shared that I was happy that I have such awesome boys in my life and that I'm enjoying who they are as a boys.  With that some of these pictures tell just exactly how "boyish" we are in our house.

I'm super, super excited to be able to find this rare treasure.  On our way to church we drove by a garage sale and everyone looked at me and said, "no, Mom we don't have time to stop".  Heartbroken, I just prayed that when we got out of church and drove back I would still find this treasure.  And sure enough it was there.  Noone else could understand my heart doing a flip over this piece.  So, into the truck this piece went.   After much goggling on how to paint it, here is the beginning and Midway progress.
